Introduction
Building and maintaining long term client relationships is a central part of our philosophy at Giliker Flynn Independent Wealth Ltd. Regardless as to whether you are a new or longstanding client, we promise that we will be open, honest and transparent in all our dealings with you. Additionally, we will for the sake of avoiding any misunderstandings, communicate with you in an open jargon-free manner. You can also be assured that all our advisers not only have a wealth of industry experience, they are also fully qualified. Furthermore, our advisers also meet the FCA professionalism standard and hold a current Statement of Professional Standing. We recognise that you, our clients, have different financial needs and objectives and as such we appreciate that one size does not fit all. In order to clarify the expectations of all parties and to provide transparency, we have set out in this document the services we provide and their associated typical costs.
Initial and On-Going Costs and charges
Financial Planning Service: Maximum 2%* Initial Charge (minimum £4,000.00) & 1% Maximum Annual Service Charge. *Consideration will be given to whether we can advise on cases valued below our minimum (£200,000), in this instance the initial advice fee may result in being more than 2%. Your annual service charge will ensure that you receive a yearly update & financial review; this annual review will be initiated by Giliker Flynn Independent Wealth Ltd
Our Service Levels
Gold Service – ongoing service fee falls under £2,000 per annum • Review of suitability of your plan/s, and provision of personal recommendations • Option of a face-to-face meeting with your adviser • Update of your personal information • Reassessment of your investment risk profile • Update your personal aims and objectives • Check your investments remain on track • Regulatory updates and other changes that impact your financial planning • Investment valuation • Annual fund review • Cashflow modelling • Portfolio rebalance & fund switch if required/necessary • Review platform costs & service • Full-time point of contact with your adviser Platinum Service – ongoing service fee above £2,000 per annum • All of the above stated in the Gold Service • Bi-annual valuation summary • Bi-annual courtesy contact • Full-time point of contact with your adviser Please Note: Although we believe that our ongoing service is vitally important in ensuring that your investments continue to match your financial objectives, it is not mandatory and as such this service can be cancelled at any time. Should you wish to discontinue the annual service and the associated fee, we will be pleased to act upon receipt of your written instructions.
Initial Advice
We will always carry out an extensive assessment of your current financial circumstances thus enabling us to best understand both your current arrangements and your ongoing objectives. Additionally, we will undertake the required research to find the most suitable option/s for your particular circumstances. We will recommend specific product/s and detail the cost to arrange and service such products. We will act between the product provider/s and yourself with a view to arranging the sale of the Retail Investment Product/s that best suits your needs and objectives. Furthermore, we will provide you with reports, financial health checks and forecasts to ensure where possible that the recommended product matches your aims and objectives. Example charges on £200,000 single premium investment: Financial Planning Service: Initial charge @ 2% = £4,000, Annual service charge @ 1% = £2,000 Please note that paying for ongoing services on a percentage basis of the funds under management means that the amount we receive will increase as the fund value increases, conversely, it will reduce if the fund value were to fall. Additional Advice & Services Any advice or service that does not meet our standard intermediation process and as a result does not culminate in the sale of a retail investment product will be charged by way of an agreed fixed fee. The fee charged will vary depending on the service provided and may be subject to VAT. We will agree to the fixed fee that will apply before carrying out any chargeable work.
